Fast path (Sovereign): adaptor HTTP, burn ticks, constitutional gates — latency-sensitive, never awaited by adaptation.
Slow path (Neurotrophic): thermodynamic mapping, Phases A–E, append-only epoch records — fire-and-forget after each tick.

  • Meta-learning adjusts parameters, not rules — and stayed gated (0 applied) in the 5-minute Phase E soak.
  • Reward functions are Founder-defined only; the system cannot author its own goals.
  • Overnight Phase E epoch analysis (C-008) remains the next campaign for meta-learning application rates.
